  1. I agree with Karl. Standard beauty is just like a boring white wall in a newly built house, there isnt anything to it, no life or character at all in or on it. The strangeness he is talking about isn’t really strangeness in its actual definition. What the meaning of “strangeness” in that context is those extra “things” (whatever they may be) is being referenced to. That are beyond what the world in the most general of form would generally deem to be “standard beauty”. Both of those two things combined make his version of beauty.
